Born in Izmir, he graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School and then from Izmir Yaşar University Faculty of Law. He continued his academic studies in the United Kingdom, earning his LL.M. in Corporate and Finance Law from the University of Glasgow Faculty of Law with 'Merit'.

 

He earned an 'A' grade with his thesis titled "Evaluation of the Ban on Financial Assistance in Leveraged Buyout Transactions: Whether the Ban in Turkish Law Can Be Overcome in LBOs Through Mergers, as in Some EU Countries."

Registered with the Izmir Bar Association, Batuhan Altıntaş began his professional legal career as a trainee lawyer at Altıntaş Law Firm, where he worked in various capacities for many years. There, he held the positions of attorney and then associate attorney. During his time as associate attorney, he worked primarily in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), construction law, and commercial contracts. He advised Türkiye's leading holding companies and industrial organizations on significant projects, including cross-border M&A transactions, GDPR compliance processes, and large-scale contract management.

Altıntaş gained his in-house legal experience at one of the world's largest tobacco companies, where he assumed responsibilities such as the establishment of the US subsidiary, the LBO carried out in Dubai, GDPR compliance projects and the management of important commercial contracts.

He speaks English at C2 level.
